Weekend Review – Round 9 2017

Round 9 in the Peninsula FNL saw Chelsea host Mornington in a tight game the Bulldogs travelled home with the 4 points after a 15 point victory, Pines welcomed Mt Eliza to the snake pit and after big four quarters, the Red Legs returned to the winner’s list by 8 points. Langwarrin put up a spirited effort against Edi-Asp, but let the visitors run away with the game and a 49 point win, Seaford had the mammoth task of handing Frankston YCW their second loss, but the Tigers couldn’t find the answers for the Stonecats, going down by 52 points and in the last game Bonbeach made light work of Karingal with an 111 point win.

Netball

Round 9 netball action in the Peninsula FNL saw Langwarrin host Edi-Asp and despite some great efforts went down to the Eagles by 10 goals. Pines had a similar result, losing to Mt Eliza by 14 goals at home while Seaford managed a 5 goal win over Frankston YCW.
