Weekend Review – Round 8 2017

Round 8 action saw some mixed results over the weekend. Mornington kicked things off with a 63 point win over Langwarrin, Chelsea threw everything at Frankston YCW but fell short by 56 points, Mt Eliza didn’t have the answers for a fired up Bonbeach, going down to the Sharks by 27 points at home, Seaford and Pines battled it out for top spot with Pines in the lead by 14 points when the final siren went, and in the last game Edi-Asp was just too good for Karingal taming the Bulls by 51 points.

Netball

Plenty of big results in the Peninsula FNL Netball this round. Edi-Asp and Karingal went to battle for top spot, and the Bulls paraded out by 13 goals, Langwarrin got the better of Mornington by 11 goals, Mt Eliza returned to the winner’s list with a 31 goal victory over Bonbeach and in the last game Seaford easily accounted for Pines winning by 30 goals.
