Weekend Review – Round 12 2017

In the Peninsula FNL round 12, we saw some close games played and other unexpected results. Mornington kicked things off with an 80 point victory over Karingal at home, Chelsea pulled off another big upset and could shape the final series defeating Seaford by 5 points at home. Mt Eliza just fell short of Frankston YCW going down by 12 points, Pines were just too strong for the young Langwarrin side and in the last game Edi-Asp once again knocked off one of the tops sides keeping their finals chances alive with a 34 point victory over Bonbeach.

Netball

Peninsula Netball saw some great games over the weekend. Bonbeach put in a solid effort but came up short against Edi-Asp by 26 goals. Langwarrin got over Pines by 13 goals at home while Mornington just couldn’t catch Karingal losing to the Bulls by 9 goals. And in the last game, Mt Eliza just got over Frankston YCW by 3 goals.
